PersonaBlocks Launches Production Platform for Sovereign Identity Verification
ATLANTA, Ga. — June 12, 2026 — Persona Blocks today announced that its sovereign identity verification platform, PersonaBlocks, has moved from public beta into production, now available at app.personablocks.io.
PersonaBlocks inverts the traditional KYC model: instead of identity documents accumulating in vendor databases, each user's verified identity is encrypted with keys derived from their own wallet, stored on distributed infrastructure, and anchored on-chain as a Verifiable Identity Certificate (VIC). Users decide who sees their documents, for how long, and can revoke access at any time — every access is logged and auditable. The company's thesis is simple: identity is infrastructure, not a honeypot.
"Every breach headline is the same story — millions of identity documents sitting in a database their owners never controlled. We built PersonaBlocks so that story can't happen: the user holds the keys, the platform holds ciphertext, and merchants get cryptographic proof instead of copies."
— Morris Mwanga, Founder, Persona Blocks
What ships in production
- Full KYC pipeline — document capture, biometric liveness detection, 3D face reconstruction, and AI-assisted scene analysis.
- User-held encryption — documents encrypted client-side with wallet-derived keys; the platform never holds plaintext after verification.
- Compliance built in — screening against OFAC, UN, EU, and Canadian sanctions lists, IP and phone intelligence, and regulated SAR workflows.
- Forensic document provenance — every document view is invisibly watermarked, so a leaked copy can be traced to the exact viewing event.
- Merchant & customer portals — time-limited, auditable document access for businesses; full visibility and revocation for users.
The beta program, which ran on the company's development environment, has concluded; all verification activity now runs on the production platform.
